Sal Pon

Do you know about the Census? If people don’t send in paper work people actually have to go door to door!

In this story there is a census taker  named SAL PON

SAL PON's boss told him to go to VE VEN's house because they needed to know how many residents there were at his house.

SAL PON went to VE VEN's house and knocked on the door. VE VEN answered and SAL PON introduced himself and ask how many people resided at the house. VE VEN said TEN Then SAL PON went back to the Census office and told his boss (who was kind of distracted with an email at the time) VE VEN HAS (HAZ) TEN Then SAL PON left for the day. Afterwards his boss tried to remember what SAL PON said. He was having trouble and asked himself:

DI(d) SAL PON SÉ (say) VE VEN HAZ (has) TEN?   DI SAL PON SÉ VE VEN HAZ TEN?
